Beef Burgers

Cooking Time: 10 Minutes

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Servings: 2-4

Ingredients: 

Beef Mix:

  • 500gr Beef Mince

  • 2 Egg Yolks

  • Ground or Grated Cayenne Pepper to taste (optional)

  • 1 Glove of Garlic

  • Salt and Pepper Seasoning

Burger:

  • Brioche Bun

  • Sauce and Desired Toppings* (see suggestions)

Method:

  1. Put the Beef Mix ingredients together in a large mixing bowl

  2. Mixing all the ingredients together by hand until all ingredients are combined, don’t over mix.

  3. Separate the beef mix into 4 patties, roll them in your hands for 10 seconds and then squash them to desired thickness, you can use a meat press or spatula to help

  4. Get your Pan hot and ready with oil

  5. Fry off the burgers for 5-10 minutes each side on a medium heat

  6. Add a slice of cheese on top once flipped to allow it to melt over the top

  7. Once the beef burger are cooked, toast the buns, you can use the pan the burgers where cooked in.

  8. Assemble your burger and enjoy.

Suggestions For Different Types of Beef Burgers:

The burger is very versatile and its flavour can be changed based on sauce and other condiments, here are a few suggestions to have a different flavour each time you cook them

For a Rustic Aussie style and Taste

You can swap out the bun for a Small Damper roll, use Tomato Relish for your sauce, and add an Egg

For a Classic American Feel and Taste

You can use Tomato Sauce, American or Dijon Mustard and Pickles

For a Modern Taste

You can use Thousand Island, Aioli or Sirarcha Mayo, Dill Infused Pickles and Saute’d Red Onion
